COUNTY OFFICE CLOSURE DATES
Skagit County Offices and Departments will be closed on Friday July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.
Skagit County Offices and Departments will also be closed on Monday, July 6, 2009 due to mandatory furlough days designed to help with the Skagit County budgetary shortfall.
Please note: District Court, Superior Court, Clerks Office and the Transfer Station on Ovenell Road, will remain open on the 6th. The Guemes Island Ferry and the Skagit County Historical Museum will also stay in operation.
Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, July 7th.

We appreciate your understanding of this closure. We hope to restore our traditional work days when the economy strengthens.

Due to high fire danger and expected hot and dry weather conditions.
District Court and Municipal Courts Offer Debt Reductions for Fines, Fees and Collections Offer extended through June
Skagit County District Court and the Municipal Courts of Mount Vernon, Burlington, Anacortes and Sedro Woolley are offering debt reductions for fines, fees and collections.
Scheduled sessions of “Getting There Safely”, a senior driver refresher course
Persons 55 years of age and older, who complete the program will qualify for a modest reduction in their automobile insurance.
No Lifeguards at Clear Lake Beach Park This Summer Due to Budget Shortfall
The park will be open for public use from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily, effective June 4, 2009. Contact Skagit County Parks & Recreation at 360-336-9414 with any questions.
