Dike, Drain, & Irrigation Filing Information

December 11 – 15, 2023
M-F 8:30am – 4:30pm


February 6th, 2024 – Dike & Drain Election
Note: If there is only 1 candidate for a position by the close of business after filing & the withdrawal deadline, that person is considered elected, and there will be no election.

Monday December 18th – last day to withdraw from filing

Requirements
You must be a registered voter in Washington State and own land within the District for which you are filing.

If you are the owner of a business that owns land in the District, you must provide a signed letter on business letterhead stating that you are an owner of the business and therefore are able to file for office.

Mail

For Candidates who will be out of town during filing week, we must receive your complete filing paperwork no earlier than December 1st and no later than 4:30pm Friday December 15th.
