Guemes Island Ferry Operations Public Forum Meeting March 24, 2011
5:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Hall

SKAGIT COUNTY - On Thursday, March 24, Skagit County will hold its first annual Public Forum for 2011 to discuss operational needs and other issues related to the Guemes Island Ferry operation. The community is encouraged to attend, learn about, and discuss agenda items, including:

2011 Annual Work Plan
Levels of service standards
Ferry schedules
Ferry ticketing
Fare recovery model
Ferry-related concerns and issues

The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Center located at 7549 Guemes Island Road.

In attendance will be: Skagit County Commissioner Ron Wesen, District 1; Public Works Director Henry Hash; and Ferry Operations Manager Rachel Beck.
