Extended Deadline for applications to the Farmland Ranchland Protection Program
The Farmland Legacy Program (FLP) has been notified that NRCS Washington
State has extended its deadline for applications to the Farmland Ranchland Protection
Program (FRPP). Due to this extended deadline, the FLP is accepting application
submittals to the program and those applications received by February 24, 2012,
will be eligible for further submittal to the FRPP. It is the intent of the
FLP to maximize the dollars spent on farmland protection and subsequently partner
with a variety of funding entities. Currently the FLP reviews, scores and ranks
properties biannually and those properties with matching funds will receive
additional points in their score.
