Freestad Lake Restoration Feasibility Study Informational Meeting

SKAGIT COUNTY - Skagit County Public Works is partnering with the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe on a feasibility study to determine possible estuary restoration options for Freestad Lake and the adjacent low lying areas on Samish Island. On April 29, 2010 at 6 p.m., join Public Works staff in an informational meeting to answer questions and discuss concerns regarding the project.

The intent of this effort is to look at the area south of the end of Blue Heron Road to determine if an estuary restoration project is possible. This effort also may include modifications to Freestad Lake. This is a feasibility study only; there is no proposed construction at this time.
