County-Wide Power Outage Hits Skagit County

SKAGIT COUNTY – Skagit County Department of Emergency Management requests that the public do not call 911 about the power outage. Puget Sound Energy is in the process of restoring power throughout Skagit County. Power has already been restored in some areas.

The power outage was triggered by a motor vehicle accident on State Route 20 between Sedro-Woolley and Burlington.

Power has been restored to the refineries at March’s Point near Anacortes.
