North Shore Drive (#01000 - Lake Cavanaugh) will be closed at milepost 1.700 during the day starting on Monday, May 11, 2009 and ending on Tuesday, May 12, 2009.

Skagit County - Skagit County Public Work will have daytime closures on North Shore Drive (# 01000) at milepost 1.700 (0.61 miles southeast of Bamboo Lane) for two days starting on Monday, May 11, 2009 and ending on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. The closures will be from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and will be reopened to traffic in the evening.

The road closures will allow Skagit County Public Works to replace a culvert under the road, which will require that county crews excavate the roadway.

The road will be closed to all vehicles except emergency vehicles. Crews will attempt to keep road open for emergency vehicles whenever possible; however, there may be short periods where the roadway will be inaccessible to all vehicles.

The detour route will be around the Lake via South Shore Drive.

Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution through the construction area and obey all traffic signs and traffic control personnel on-site.
