North Shore Drive (#01000 - Lake Cavanaugh) will be closed at milepost 2.817 during the day starting on Tuesday, June 2, 2009.

Skagit County - Skagit County Public Work will close North Shore Drive (# 01000) at milepost 2.817 (approximately 0.40 miles northwest of Phipps Drive) on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. The closure will be from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This road closure will allow Skagit County Public Works to replace a culvert under the road, which will require that county crews excavate the roadway.
The road will be closed to all vehicles except emergency vehicles. Crews will attempt to keep the road open for emergency vehicles whenever possible; however, there may be short periods where the roadway will be inaccessible to all vehicles.

The detour route will be around the Lake via South Shore Drive.

Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution through the construction area and obey all traffic signs and traffic control personnel on-site.
