Jeroldine Hallberg completes Mediator Certification through Mediation & Facilitation Services

SKAGIT COUNTY – Jeroldine Hallberg has joined the pool of 16 certified mediators providing pro bono service for the Dispute Resolution Center of Skagit County.

Jeroldine attended the 40-hour Professional Mediation Training in November 2007. In Jeroldine’s words, “I have a long-standing interest in better ways to resolve issues I see in both my professional and personal life. I am heartened by what I have learned about the effectiveness of mediation in empowering both parties to reach their own interest-based solutions.”

Upon completion of her training Jeroldine applied for and was accepted into Mediation Services’ intensive practicum program. Over the past 18 months she has committed many hours observing mediation sessions, co-mediating with experienced mediators and finally passing the professional standards exam for certification.

Jeroldine holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington, a Master of Education from the University of Minnesota and over 30 years of experience in the Planning field.
