Road Closure: Kulshan Avenue

Between LaVenture and 26th Street Thursday, 6/18/09, Friday, 6/19/09, Monday, 6/22/09, and Tuesday, 6/23/09 Between the hours of 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (this work could potentially extend into Wednesday, 6/24/09)

On Thursday and Friday, June 18, 2009 and June 19, 2009, Shoreline Construction will be receiving pipe for PUD’s transmission line installation project from Judy Reservoir to Mount Vernon and the City of Mount Vernon’s Kulshan sewer pipe replacement project. While receiving the pipe, intermittent lane closures are expected to occur on Kulshan Avenue, from LaVenture to 26th Street.

On Monday and Tuesday, June 22, 2009 and June 23, 2009, Shoreline Construction will begin excavation and installation of the pipe, requiring the closure of one lane; excavation and installation work could potentially extend into Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Flaggers will be on hand to help direct traffic throughout the lane closures; however, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. Work is scheduled to occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
