I-5 lane in Mount Vernon to close for cable barrier repairs

MOUNT VERNON – Drivers who travel southbound I-5 near Mount Vernon will want to prepare for minor delays Thursday night, June 25.

Crews will close the left lane of southbound I-5 from 7 to 11 p.m. at milepost 224.6, just south of the Anderson Road exit, to repair damaged cable median barrier.

Minor delays are expected during the evening closure.
