Skagit County to host public information meeting for Skagit County's 2012-2017 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program

SKAGIT COUNTY - On Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Skagit County will host a public information meeting to discuss Skagit County's 2012-2017 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program. The community is invited to attend, provide feedback, and voice any concerns regarding the program.

The Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program is the County's medium-range plan for road, bridge, ferry, and related surface water facility projects. Updated yearly, it is a step in the planning process that will eventually lead to the Annual Construction Program. As priorities change, Skagit County may add or remove projects to the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program.
