Around-the-clock lane closure on SR 9 north of Sedro-Woolley
SEDRO-WOOLLEY Crews will reduce a stretch of State Route 9 north of Sedro-Woolley to one lane next week as they prepare to switch traffic to a new section of road.
The around-the-clock lane closure will begin at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, and end at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14. One lane will be closed between the railroad crossing and Martin Road. Both lanes of SR 9 will be open for the weekend.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct traffic through the work zone. Drivers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
During the lane closure, crews will install new drainage crossings, grind and remove existing asphalt and concrete, build transitions between the new and old lanes, and pave the area.
