Guemes Island Ferry Operations Public Forum Meeting September 13, 2012
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Hall

SKAGIT COUNTY - On Thursday, September 13, Skagit County will hold its second annual Public Forum for 2012 to discuss operational needs and other issues relative to the Guemes Island Ferry operation. The community is encouraged to attend, learn about, and discuss agenda items, including:

Draft 2013 Ferry Operations Work Plan
Draft Guemes Island Ferry 2012 Operations Status Report
Public Works Recommendations to Expand the Peak Season Dates to May 1 through September 30
Ferry Projects Update
Ferry-Related Concerns and Issues

All agenda-related items will be available for review beginning August 30, 2012, at www.skagitcounty.net/ferry, and at www.linetime.org. Please visit either of these websites to download and review the public forum agenda documents.
The meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Center located at 7549 Guemes Island Road.

In attendance will be: Skagit County Commissioner Ron Wesen, District 1; Public Works Director, Henry Hash; Ferry Operations Division Manager, Rachel Beck; Public Works Controller, Ed Erickson; and Public Works Accounting Tech, Jim Martin.
