Happy Birthday Mount
Vernon!
Mount Vernon – Mount Vernon is celebrating their 120th Birthday this year
and Skagit County Historical Museum is putting on one BIG party – that
lasts two months!
The celebration will begin with a Happy Birthday Gala on October 7th, kicking
off our special exhibit: Mount Vernon – From Founding to Future. The Gala
and the Exhibit will be at 419 S. 1st St (the previous home of the Children’s
Museum) in downtown Mount Vernon. The exhibit will open October 9th and run
through November 20th, Thursday – Saturday, noon – 4 PM. Regular admission
prices apply throughout the event.
Tickets for the Gala are $50 and are available by contacting the Museum at 360.466.3365
or by going on-line and downloading a form to mail in.
The family-friendly Skagit County Historical Museum with viewing deck over Skagit
farmland is located at 501 S. 4th Street, at the top of the hill in La Conner.
