October Senior Driver Refresher Course can reduce insurance rates

SKAGIT COUNTY - The next scheduled sessions of "Getting There Safely," a senior driver refresher course, will occur on Thursday, October 13 and Friday, October 14, 2011.
The classes will be held at the Mount Vernon Senior Center, 1401 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA, 98273.

This eight-hour class, divided into two four-hour sessions, is specifically designed for the senior driver. The sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. both days. People 55 years of age and older who complete the program will qualify for a modest reduction in their automobile insurance.

There is a $10.00 fee per person for this class.
