Skagit County hosts Flood Information meeting for Samish

SKAGIT COUNTY -The Skagit County Public Works Department is hosting an informational meeting regarding flooding issues in the Samish River basin on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Allen Fire Hall.

Last January, the Samish River flood caused significant damage to homes, farms, businesses and public infrastructure. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss preparation and awareness for future flood events.
