H1N1 FLU UPDATE

Skagit County's H1N1 vaccine supply changes daily, if not every few hours. "Yesterday, we were running low on vaccine when another shipment arrived," said Peter Browning, Skagit County Public Health Director. "We are doing our best to keep people informed, but it's a shifting landscape. In truth, it's good that we are running out of vaccine because that means vaccine is getting into people where it will do the most good."

Even though shipments were expected weekly, they have arrived more frequently. In the last three days, Skagit County Public Health has received three allotments. "If you call or check the web-site and find that we are out of vaccine, check back in a day, added Browning. We expect the supply to only improve from here on out."
