Schedule announced for senior driver refresher course, "Getting There Safely"

SKAGIT COUNTY - The next scheduled sessions of "Getting There Safely," a senior driver refresher course, will occur through April 2011 on the following dates:

• Thursday, February 10 and Friday, February 11
  
• Thursday, March 10 and Friday, March 11
  
• Thursday, April 14 and Friday, April 15

The classes will be held at the Mount Vernon Senior Center, 1401 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA, 98273.
This eight-hour class, divided into two four-hour sessions, is specifically designed for the senior driver. The sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. both days. People 55 years of age and older who complete the program will qualify for a modest reduction in their automobile insurance.
There is a $10.00 fee per person for this class.
