SKAGIT RIVER IS UNDER FLOOD
WARNING
SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit and Samish Rivers continue to rise. The newly predicted crest for the Skagit River at Concrete is 31.8 feet, this evening at 10:00 pm. The Skagit is still predicted to crest in Mount Vernon at 4:00 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at 29.5 feet. Flood Stage on the Skagit River is 28 feet at Concrete and Mount Vernon.

Skagit River at Concrete: 29.34 feet
Skagit River at Mount Vernon: 24.36 feet
Samish River near Old Highway 99: 10.47 feet
Road closure update:
Roads in the Cape Horn area are now closed.
Cascade River Road - Closed at milepost 6 due to slide.
The intersection of Colony Road and Colony Mountain Drive remains closed.
The public is advised to avoid driving through standing water on roadways, and obey any "closed roads" signs.
We will continue to closely monitor the water levels in both rivers.
