SKAGIT COUNTY – The Skagit County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to discuss water fluoridation at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2007 in the Commissioners Hearing Room at 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon. The Skagit County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously last September to pass a resolution calling for an advisory vote on the issue of fluoridation of the Skagit County Public Utility District No. 1 water supply served by Judy Reservoir. The measure was placed on the November ballot only in precincts served by Judy Reservoir. The voters approved the measure by a 52 percent margin.
