CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS SOUGHT TO RE-EVALUATE FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION ORDINANCE

Skagit County is seeking the assistance of a Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to serve in an advisory role in re-evaluating the existing Skagit County Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance. The CAC will review and comment on draft revisions to this ordinance.

Citizens with knowledge and/or experience in hydraulic or hydrologic engineering, land surveying (particularly within designated floodplains), FEMA elevation certificate requirements, flood insurance requirements, coastal construction manual requirements or other related interests are encouraged to submit a letter of interest along with a statement of qualifications by April 1, 2006 to:
