TEMPORARY SPEED REDUCTION IMPLEMENTED ON JOSH WILSON ROAD FROM SR 11 TO JENSEN LANE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Skagit County - Skagit County Public Works has temporarily reduced the speed limit on Josh Wilson Road from 50-mph to 35-mph from SR 11 to Jensen Lane. This reduction is an effort to slow down and reduce the damage to the roadway due to the saturation of the soils and failing roadway base. Skagit County Public Works is working on a plan to repair and stabilize the roadway and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the speed reduction.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will update the public with any changes and/or status of the roadway.
