YOUNGQUIST HIRES NEW CHIEF ACCOUNTANT FOR COUNTY AUDITOR'S OFFICE

SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit County Auditor’s office today announced the hiring of Rebecca “Becky” Wagner to fill the position of Chief Accountant.

“Becky comes to Skagit County with diverse and adventurous wealth of experience in finance and accounting,” said Skagit County Auditor Jeanne Youngquist. “We are looking forward to implementing her talents to facilitate a proactive and progressive relationship built upon the philosophy of service.”

Wagner’s experience includes past positions as a finance director, corporate controller, and consultant, with experience in international accounting, internal audits, and financial reporting.

She graduated magna cum laude from Central Washington University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance, has taken graduate courses from Golden Gate University and the University of Washington, and has her Washington State Certified Public Accountant license.
