YOUR CHILD DESERVES TO BE SAFE!

When it comes to riding in a car, your children don't have a choice - they must be in a car seat.

Washington's comprehensive car seat law has been on the books since 2002. Children up to six years old or 60 pounds MUST be in a car seat that is appropriate for them, based on age, weight and size.

Believe it or not, there still are parents and guardians who don't put their children in car seats. And for those parents who are using car seats, 80 percent of them are not installing them properly! You need an expert to help you make sure your child is safe for the road.

The Skagit County Child Passenger Safety Team, Skagit County SAFE KIDS, and Skagit County Medic One will be holding car seat checks on the upcoming dates and locations below to ensure that car seats are installed correctly and children are properly secure.
