SKAGIT COUNTY SEEKS COMMENT ON UPDATED CRITICAL AREAS ORDINANCE
SKAGIT COUNTY The Skagit County Planning and Development Services seeks public comment on the Skagit County Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO) amendments. The Washington State Growth Management Act (GMA) requires Skagit County to periodically update its Critical Areas Ordinance and associated development regulations. The draft CAO will be released on March 9, 2007. The 60 day public comment period will end on May 7, 2007.
Informational Open Houses are scheduled at two locations:

The Skagit County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 10, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Skagit County Administration Building, 1800 Continental Place.
