PESTICIDE RECERTIFICATION TRAINING IN SPANISH

Washington State Department of Agriculture is offering a free training for Spanish-speaking individuals. The training will award four pesticide-recertification credits to persons holding current pesticide licenses.

The class will be held Monday, March 15, from 5:00 pm to 8:45 pm, at Skagit PUD, 1415 Freeway Drive in Mount Vernon. Topics will include understanding pesticide labels, personal protective equipment, and cholinesterase requirements for 2004. For information, contact Flor Tovar at 509/662-0590.
