INFORMATION ON SKAGIT RIVER FLOOD PREVENTION PROJECT AVAILABLE AT LOCAL LIBRARIES IN SKAGIT COUNTY

SKAGIT COUNTY – Repositories of information on the Skagit River Flood Project Feasibility Study are available at libraries in Anacortes, Burlington, Concrete, La Conner, Mount Vernon and Sedro-Woolley. “This information will be updated on a regular basis as part of our public outreach efforts on this project,” said Dan Berentson, Skagit County communications director.

The information is provided in a large binder, documenting actions by the Skagit County Board of Commissioners, Skagit County Public Works, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Washington State Department of Ecology pertaining to the Skagit River Feasibility Study and related topics.

Additional information of the Skagit River Flood Prevention Project is available online at www.skagitcounty.net/flood project.
