The 2003 Skagit Valley High School SENIOR Basketball Games will be held this Saturday, March 22nd at Skagit Valley College’s – Duvall Pavilion. There will be a girls game (6:00 PM) and a boys game (7:30 PM) to honor the SENIOR high school basketball players of the Skagit Valley (all Skagit County high schools and Stanwood). The games will be preceded by 3-Point Contests and a Slam Dunk Contest for the games participants starting just after 5:00 PM. Admission is $4.00 per person or $3.00 per student and senior citizen (65 years & older). Children 10 years of age and under are FREE. The event is co-sponsored by the Skagit County Parks & Recreation Department, the Skagit Valley Herald, and Skagit Valley College. All proceeds go to the Skagit County Parks & Recreation – Youth Scholarship Fund.
