CONFLICT COACHING TRAINING OFFERED BY SKAGIT COUNTY MEDIATION SERVICES
SKAGIT COUNTY - Conflict Coaching is a way of supporting and equipping another person to deal with the people in their life with whom they have conflicts and disputes, for example, landlords, family members, neighbors, spouses, co-parents, parents, teens.
Designed for professionals who want to be able to support their clients in this way, this training begins with a 6-hour session where perspectives on conflict, communication and coaching are presented and participants gain experience leading a conflict coaching process. In a 4-hour session six weeks later and 2 additional 2 hour follow-up sessions, insights about communication and coaching are deepened as participants share their experiences with conflict coaching. Dates are Wednesday, April 16, 2008 (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), Wednesday, May 28, 2008 (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.). The 2-hour sessions will be scheduled by the learning group. Cost: $200.
