SKAGIT COUNTY SEEKS CITIZENS ADVISORY MEMBERS FOR CONSERVATION FUTURES COMMITTEE
SKAGIT COUNTY - Skagit County is seeking members for a Citizens Advisory Committee
(CAC) to serve in an advisory role in recommending properties for inclusion
in Skagit County’s Farmland Legacy Program. The Conservation Futures Advisory
Committee reviews and makes recommendations on the purchase of development rights
on agricultural properties throughout the county.
Citizens with knowledge and/or experience in agriculture, land conservation,
and/or natural resource management or other related interests are encouraged
to submit a letter of interest along with a statement of qualifications by April
25, 2007, to:
