CITIZENS FOR INDOOR RECREATION AND EVENT CENTER START PLANNING PROCESS
Public invited to kick-off
SKAGIT COUNTY - The Citizens for an Indoor Recreation and Event Center will
hold a Public Kickoff meeting on Wednesday, April 11 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
at the Commissioner’s Hearing Room to discuss the schematic design process
of the proposed facility.
Skagit County hired a sports architecture firm Sinks, Combs & Dethlefs of
Denver, Colorado to move the project from conceptual stage schematic design.
The core planning team now includes the Skagit Valley YMCA, who will help address
the community aquatics priority, as well as other traditional YMCA programming.
Also involved is Skagit Valley College, the City of Mount Vernon and Boys and
Girls Clubs of Skagit County.
