COMMISSIONERS TO DEDICATE MEMORIAL IN HONOR OF THOSE WHO DIED IN THE SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 TERRORIST ATTACK
Local man donates stone to be placed at Skagit County Courthouse

SKAGIT COUNTY - As a memorial in honor of those who died in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, the Skagit County Commissioners will sign a resolution and dedicate a stone to be placed at the Skagit County Courthouse.

The stone was designed and donated by Todd Martin, of Mount Vernon. The County Commissioners will sign the resolution and formally thank Martin, on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at 9 a.m. at their regular board meeting.

"We appreciate Mr. Martin's gesture and generosity and are thankful to honor those who died in this tragedy," said Board Chairman Don Munks.
