April 17, 2003 KADRMAS APPOINTED NEW DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES FOR COUNTY SKAGIT COUNTY – Skagit County’s current Risk Manager Billie Kadrmas will take on the additional responsibility of Director of Human Resources effective immediately, according to Administrator Gary Rowe. She replaces Roy Atwood of left the position last January. Kadrmas has served as interim Director of Human Resources since his departure. Her starting annual salary for the new position is $66,715. “We have been very impressed with Kadrmas’ performance in her interim role. The Commissioners decided she is capable of serving as both Director of Human Resources and Risk Manager,” said Skagit County Administrator Gary Rowe. Kadrmas joined Skagit County in 2001 as Risk Manager, after serving in that position for Snohomish County P.U.D. She has more than 29 years experience in both the private and public sectors, specializing in risk management, and Workers Compensation issues. “I’m excited about this new challenge,” said Kadrmas.
