April 26th, 2002 VERA SULLIVAN RECIEVES LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD SKAGIT COUNTY - Skagit County Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Vera Sullivan was presented a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the "Very Important Prevention Person" recognition awards dinner held by Skagit Prevention Council on April 25, 2002. This is only the most recent of several awards she has been presented throughout her years of service to Skagit County, said Maile Acoba, Human Services Coordinator. Sullivan plans to retire next week after 15 years of service. "We are losing a valuable treasure. Vera has gone through the years working quietly in the community and accomplishing wonderful things," said Acoba. "Vera is truly a `Living Treasure' in Skagit County, and I believe many members of the community would agree." For further information,
