DISTRICT COURT HONORS EMPLOYEES

SKAGIT COUNTY – Skagit County District Court celebrated their annual employee recognition ceremony, Monday, April 25, 2005 to show appreciation to employees who have reached their fifth year of employment and special recognition for every five years served thereafter.
 
Each employee receives a crystal paperweight in recognition of their service and were recognized by District Court Judges David Svaren and Stephen Skelton.

Linda Eiford, Director Skagit County District Court Probation Dept.
          Linda has been with the county for 15 years., starting as a probation officer, serving in that capacity for 11 years, assuming the Director position in 2001. 
 
Kristen Mattson,
          Kristen has been with the county for 15 years. She began her career in the prosecutor’s office in 1990.  In 1998 she took a position with the District Court.
 
Linford Smith, Court Commissioner
          Linford has been with the county for six years.  Prior to his current position he was City Attorney for the City of Mount Vernon.
 
Lajuana Forrester,
          Lajuana has been with the county for 20 years.  She started in 1984, working as a corrections deputy in the Skagit County jail.  She took a position with the court in 1995.

Pam Springer,
Pam started in 1985 as a clerk, and was promoted to administration in 1987. She has completed 20 years of service.
