PARKS DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES PUBLIC MEETINGS TO DISCUSS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Skagit County Parks and Recreation is currently working on its 5-year comprehensive plan update. Three public meetings, one in each County Commissioner District, have been scheduled as following:

Tuesday, May 13th, Rockport (Howard Miller Steelhead Park Clubhouse)
Wednesday, May 14th, Anacortes (Police Department)
Thursday, May 15th, Mount Vernon (Police Court Campus)
All meetings will begin at 7PM.

Parks Staff will be on hand, along with consultant Susan Black and Associates. The current parks and recreation comprehensive plan will be highlighted, along with major developments in both facilities and programming over the past five years.
The public will also be encouraged to bring their respective priorities and vision to the process.
