ALGER COMMUNITY PLAN OPEN HOUSE AND PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULED FOR MAY 10 AT ALGER COMMUNITY HALL

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Alger Community Plan Open and House and Planning Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2007, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Alger Community Hall located at 18731 Parkview Lane.

The public is invited to join their neighbors to review the draft plan for Alger and share their comments. Eight Alger residents have been working on the plan. The draft plan is available for review at www.skagitcounty.net/planalger

"This is a community effort to plan for Alger's future. It is essential for Alger residents to make their opinions heard. Last May we had a community meeting to get initial feedback from our neighbors, and now ask for you to come to this next meeting to review our draft plan,” said Maggie Sullivan, committee member.

Printed copies of the drafts can by obtained at the Skagit County Planning and Development Services offices at 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, Washington.
