Skagit County Planning and Development Services is moving

SKAGIT COUNTY – Skagit County Planning & Development Services will be moving temporarily while the current building is remodeled and a new addition constructed.

The new physical address will be 1700 E. College Way, Mount Vernon, WA. 98273. All mail may still be sent to the old address and all phone numbers will remain the same.

Beginning on Thursday, May 22, 2008 and continuing through Thursday, May 29, 2008, there will be a temporary disruption of most Department activities. During a portion of this time, the front counter will be open on a limited basis for the issuance and submittal of applications only. Department staff may not be available by phone, email or for consultation at the counter during this time. Staff members will begin to return voice mail and emails as soon as possible after those services are restored.

The Department will be closed to the public Friday, May 23 – 27, 2008 while the actual move is taking place.

Building inspections will not be provided on Monday, May 26 or Tuesday, May 27, 2008. May 26 is Memorial Day.
