FINAL REPORT: SKAGIT RIVER HYDROLOGY INDEPENDENT TECHNICAL REPORT

The Final Report, Skagit River Hydrology Independent Technical Report, issued in April 2007 is now posted on the Skagit County website. The Report was written by Northwest Hydraulic Consultants (nhc). It responds to Skagit County's request for nhc's opinion on whether the historic estimates by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) for flood peaks in water years 1898, 1910, 1918, and 1922 should be included, or not, in Skagit River flood frequency analyses. The Report also responds to the County's request for nhc's opinion on actions that could be taken to reduce uncertainty over the Skagit River historical hydrology.
