TRAIL WORK SCHEDULED FOR NATIONAL TRAILS DAY

Come help Skagit County Parks and Recreation celebrate National Trails Day!

Skagit County Parks and Recreation are calling for volunteers to help them blaze a new trail at your new Montgomery-Duban Headlands Park on South Fidalgo Island. Volunteers are asked to show up at the Sharpe Park trailhead at 10 a.m., Friday June 3. Please bring a good pair of gloves, plenty of water, and a strong back. If you have any trail building tools, please bring those as well. Trail building tools include mcleods, polaskies, maddocks, loppers, and grub hoes. Skagit County Parks and Recreation would like to wish all Skagit County residents a Merry National Trails Day. So to all of you trail advocates who continue to use our growing trail system, we would like to say thank you “we’ll see you on the trail!”
