New Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Available Throughout Skagit County; Saturday, June 5 as Final Day for First-Dose Pfizer Vaccine Services at the Fairgrounds

Skagit County Public Health has added many new pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics to their summer calendar. A list of upcoming pop-up clinics can be found on the website at www.skagitcounty.net/COVIDvaccine, as well as on Public Health’s Facebook. People are also encouraged to call the Vaccine Hotline at (360) 416-1500 for more information.

Some upcoming pop-up events include:

No appointments are necessary to access a vaccine at these locations, and as always, vaccines are free to all. Pop-up clinics are open to anyone 12 years and older when Pfizer vaccine is available and 18 years and older when only single-dose Johnson&Johnson is available. Check the links above for details about what vaccine will be provided.

Individuals can access a Pfizer first or second dose at these locations; those who receive their Pfizer first-dose at a pop-up clinic will either be able to access their second Pfizer dose at a follow-up pop-up clinic at the same location, or they will be directed on where to receive their second at a nearby provider location.

As a reminder, Saturday, June 5 is the final day to drive-up or make an appointment for a first-dose Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at the Skagit County Fairgrounds. Skagit Public Health will be closing out Pfizer first-dose vaccine services at the Fairgrounds following this date and will focus primarily on Pfizer second-dose and Johnson&Johnson single-dose vaccinations until June 26 when the site will close permanently.

Between June 6 and June 26, the Fairgrounds will operate on reduced hours: Thursdays from 1-7pm; Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm. Both Pfizer and single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be provided during this time. People will continue to be able to access a vaccine by appointment or walk-up during operating hours.
