Skagit County Holds New Written Comment Period on Bayview Ridge School Location
SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit County Board of County Commissioners has opened a new written comment period on the proposal to allow schools as a special use in the Bayview Ridge Community Center zone. Comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5, and the Board will consider them at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 10. Schools are now allowed as a special use in the Bayview Ridge Residential zone. The Board decided that additional written testimony would help them reach a decision on whether schools should also be allowed as a special use in the Bayview Ridge Community Center zone.
The proposal may be reviewed on the Skagit County website at www.skagitcounty.net/BayviewRidgePlan, by scrolling to the heading: 4/11/08 County Releases First of Two Bayview Ridge Compliance Proposals. The proposal may also be viewed at the Skagit County Planning and Development Services Department, which has recently moved its physical address to: 1700 E. College Way, Mount Vernon, WA. 98273. All mail may still be sent to the old address listed below.
Written comments will be taken until 4:30 p.m. June 5, 2008, on the schools siting issue only.

Written comments must be submitted on 8½ by 11 paper in black and white. Maps and other documents must be in black and white and on 8½ by 11 paper for reproduction purposes.
