GETTING THERE SAFELY

The next scheduled session of "GETTING THERE SAFELY", a senior driver refresher course, will occur on Thursday, June 16th, 2005 and Friday, June 17th, 2005 at the Burlington Senior Center, 1011 Greenleaf Avenue, Burlington, Wa. 98233 .

This eight (8) hour class, divided into two - four hour sessions, is specifically designed for the senior driver. Persons 55 years of age and older, who complete the program, will qualify for a modest reduction in their automobile insurance.

There is a ten-dollar ($10.00) fee per person for this class. Checks should be made out to WTSEA and brought to class on June 16th.

The two daytime sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. both days. Persons wishing to enroll or needing additional information should contact Kammi Short, Skagit County Public Works Department, at (360) 336-9400, ext 3154. We ask that all participants be pre-registered.
