June 5, 2002 COUNTY EMPLOYEES TO HOLD GARAGE SALE TO BENEFIT ARGUS FUND SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit County Department of Youth and Family Services is having a garage sale with all proceeds to be donated to the Argus Fund. It will be held at the YMCA Teen Center on Fulton Street in Mount Vernon on Friday, June 21, 2002 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. "For more than 50 years, the Skagit County professionals have accessed the Argus Fund to meet the documented needs of at-risk children in our community," said Jolene McEachran, Intervention Specialist. "We appreciate the efforts of the Argus staff and their readers." In addition to the garage sale Youth and Family Services staff will hold a bake sale in November and are planning to host a luncheon/silent auction next fall.
