June 28, 2002 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS CITIZENS' COMMISSION ON SALARIES FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit County Commissioners will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at 11:45 a.m., at the Commissioners Hearing Room, to consider the possible reconvening of the Skagit County Citizens' Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials. The Skagit County
Citizens' Commission for Elected Officials was established in 2001,
according to RCW 36.17.024 to examine and make recommendations for
salary levels. Earlier this year, a lawsuit was filed challenging
the process.
