June 30, 2003 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE LAKE VIEW BOULEVARD AT STATE ROUTE 9 TO BE CLOSED JULY 3 FROM 7:00 P.M. to 12:00 A.M. DURING BIG LAKE FIREWORK DISPLAY SKAGIT COUNTY - Lake View Boulevard will be closed from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. during the Big Lake Firework display as requested by the Big Lake Fire Department and the Skagit County Sheriff's Department. Because of congestion and sight distance issues at this intersection during the Big Lake Fire Works Display, all agreed that the closure would be in the best interest of the public, said Forrest Jones, of Skagit County Public Works Traffic Engineering. Washington State Department of Transportation is also aware of the closure.
