SOUTH FIDALGO ISLAND PLANNING MEETINGS

Fidalgo Island, WA, June 30, 2005- Community members are invited to attend the following meetings of the Citizen Advisory Committee for the South Fidalgo Subarea Plan during July, August, and September.

The Citizen and Technical Advisory Committees will review draft plan chapters and hear updates on the topics of septic systems and lot certification. They will also hold a special session to hear additional comments on a trail at Deception Pass State Park. All meetings are at the Fidalgo Elementary School.

The schedule is:
July 14, 7 p.m. - Draft Land Use Element
July 28, 7 p.m. - Health Department Update / Lot Certification Update
August 11, 6 p.m. - Special Ginnett Road Trailhead Meeting 6-7:30 pm / Draft Transportation, Capital Facilities, and Utilities elements
September 8, 7 p.m. - Environment and Implementation elements
