Skagit County Commissioner Sharon Dillon appointed to Washington State Traffic Safety Commission

SKAGIT COUNTY – Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire recently announced the appointment of Skagit County Commissioner Sharon Dillon to the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission. Dillon will represent the Washington State Association of Counties.

Dillon is the fourth Skagitonian to serve on the commission. The late District Court Judge Larry Moller, former Skagit County Commissioner Ruth Wylie and Bill Carlisle have previously served.

“We’ve been well represented on the Traffic Safety Commission in Skagit County,” said Skagit County Traffic Safety Programs Coordinator Don McKeehan. “Commissioner Dillon will continue this strong tradition.”
