RIVER ROAD TO BE CLOSED JULY 14TH, 2004
Closure due illegal garbage dumping and vandalism.

SEDRO-WOOLLEY - Skagit County Public Works will be closing the east end of River Road to motorized vehicles.

This closure is due to the continued illegal garbage dumping in the area and vandalism to the utilities on the east end of River Road.

The roadway will be gated at milepost 1.70 to restrict motorized vehicles from accessing the last quarter mile to the end of the road at milepost 1.97. However, the public will be able to access this portion of River Road by foot or bike.
